Observaciones 2009 brings the Rocky Mountain EBHC Workshop back to the Rocky Mountains! We’ll be at the Vail Cascade Club in Vail, CO on July 26-30, 2009. The Cascade is newly renovated and sits on the Gore Creek in West Vail.

In this tight economy, we are asking for your help in advertising the EBHC Workshop to your colleagues and contacts. Our best advertising has come through past participants. We know that budgets are tight – and for that reason, we will extend the “group discount” to registrants that you refer, regardless of the number of people registering from their organization. If you attend the EBHC workshop this year, please register under the “group rate” as a thank you for your support.

This year, we will have two small groups with a more-directed agenda than our regular clinical small groups.

One of these small groups will focus specifically on “Teaching Evidence-Based Practice”. This small group will be made up of people who teach in the health care curriculum or residency/fellowship programs.

The other small group will be comprised of more advanced participants – those who have attended the EBHC Workshop (or a similar workshop) before and those who use evidence-based practice in their daily work. This group will work at a faster pace and is asked to bring examples from their work place.

Each of these groups will be limited to no more than 9 participants.
